Inhaling Metals
It could be that China's population may go down due to their high levels of metal found in their cigarettes. The country contains the highest amount of smokers in the world. It was reported by Tan Ey Lyn, on Science Daily, that lead, arsinic and cadium levels are three times higher in their cigarettes in comparsion with Canada. Additional health concerns were expanded on when placing alcoholic drinks into the picture while smoking. What makes matters worse is knowing that quiting smoking is very difficult. Although research is being done about this issue, what form of action will ultimately be taken?

WOW! I never knew there were metals in Chinese cigarettes. This post really caught my attention because I never would have guessed that there could be metal in a Cigarette. It's sort of funny how you even see a brighter side in the potential decrease of population. haha. Your blog topics keep getting better as I read!
ReplyDeleteI would have to say that this entire blog is an eye opener and ver upsetting! It'salways been said that cigarettes kill you but who knew that it was not just the nicotine but also metal in cigarettes for the Chinese! It is very relevant because it is a fact that most people are unaware of. This blog would be a very interesting article with more information on the effects of the metal in the cigarettes and how people, if at all, have been physically affected.
